I am a 20 year military veteran and businessman. My wife and I now have a 'small holding' in the Heathfield area, where my children and grandchildren are also local. My family span all the generations in this area which helps to keep me focused on all the issues that concern my residents. I have served and worked across Europe, the USA, Canada, Saudi Arabia, and of course Northern Ireland.
I was first elected to the County Council in 2017 where I am presently the Lead Member for Children and Families. Additionally, as an ex-serviceman, I also have the honour to be the 'Armed Forces Champion' for East Sussex. I work extremely hard for my residents, but am very aware that it is impossible to keep all of the people happy for all of the time.
